I’m Ali Subbert. I am an aspiring film and television director. I am a graduate from St. Cloud State University with a Bachelor or Arts degree in Mass Communications. I have taken course work regarding film studies, marketing, public relations, Spanish, science, advertising, and creation of videos and websites.
I have also gained valuable experience working freelance video jobs and in different social media positions. See my resume for more details about my past work experiences.
Below you can read more about my involvement during my time on campus. I was very involved on my campus. I have been a member of UTVS, NRHH, RHA, PRSSA, Husky Agency, and Honors Club.
I worked as a news anchor for UTVS. I also worked behind the scenes working with audio, graphics, camera operating, jib operating, master control and more for a live newscast. I spent a lot of timing learning Adobe Creative Suite and therefore have gained a lot of experience with editing different levels of audio and video.
I was the president of the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) and was the public relations chair before that. I managed their social media as well as the meetings and planned events that were carried out by the whole organization.
I was on the planning committee of the Residence Hall Association (RHA) where we planned events for all students living on campus and also worked with a budget on those.
I am a general member of the Public Relations Student Society of America to learn more about the career path in general. I also did work for Husky Agency on campus. Husky Agency is a student run public relations campaign that works with actual clients outside the university.
Lastly, I maintain a 3.0 gpa or higher as an honors student on campus.
In my free time I love watching and analyzing films, reading books, and writing screen plays. I am a very passionate and dedicated person and will always put 110% into anything I do.
